Nuclear fallout engulfs the whole world. Is there any place out there untouched? Any other survivors left?

Only three days have passed since that blast changed our whole world
For better or worse it turned this Subway into a shelter, our only hope
But I will not stand idly by and starve to death, here in this tomb
I will find my way out of here and die out there, out in the sun
